Lipi Mala – Terms of Use

Welcome to Lipi Mala, an educational mobile application developed by Zepto Sky Pty Ltd, based in Australia. Lipi Mala is designed to help children and non-Nepali speakers learn the Nepali language through fun and engaging activities. By signing up for and using the Lipi Mala app, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. User Access

  • Lipi Mala is available via the App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use the app independently.
  • Children under 13 may use the app only under adult supervision (parent/guardian).
  • The app is designed with child-friendly features and follows safety standards for young learners.

2. License to Use

Zepto Sky grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Lipi Mala on a compatible mobile device for personal, non-commercial educational use. You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, lease, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.
  • Use the app for unlawful purposes or to harm others.

3. Features & Subscription Plans

Lipi Mala includes both free and paid features:

  • Free Features: Access to basic Nepali lessons, alphabets, and activities.
  • Paid Features: Advanced lessons, pronunciation tools, games, and other learning modules.

Subscription plans are offered on a monthly or yearly basis. A valid subscription is required to access premium content.

4. Payments & Renewals

  • Subscription payments are handled via your Apple or Google account.
  • All payments are non-refundable.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Unpaid or cancelled subscriptions may lead to restricted access to premium content without notice.

5. Microphone Access (Android Only)

  • The pronunciation check feature requires microphone access.
  • This feature is currently available only on Android devices.
  • Voice input is used only for real-time analysis and is not stored or shared.
  • Performance may vary depending on device quality and background noise.

6. Technical Limitations & Updates

  • Some features (e.g., voice detection) may be limited by device hardware or software.
  • Font availability and certain UI elements may vary between versions.
  • Lipi Mala is updated regularly to introduce new content, fix bugs, and improve functionality.

7. Content & Curriculum

  • The app offers content like Nepali alphabets, basic words, and interactive activities.
  • Future updates will include curriculum-based lessons aligned with educational standards.
  • We strive to maintain accurate and standard Nepali language usage.

8. Feedback & Language Support

  • If you find any content errors or wish to verify grammar/spelling (शुद्ध/अशुद्ध लेखाइ), you may upload relevant files for review.
  • We offer corrections and feedback as part of our educational support.

9. Privacy Policy

By using Lipi Mala, you agree to the terms outlined in our Privacy Policy, which details how your data is collected, stored, and used:

  • We do not collect personal data unnecessarily.
  • All data (voice, text, uploads) is processed securely and used strictly for educational purposes.
  • No user data is sold or shared with third parties.

10. Children’s Privacy & Safety

  • Lipi Mala is designed with children’s privacy in mind.
  • We encourage adult supervision, especially for features requiring internet access or content uploads.
  • We comply with applicable child data protection laws.

11. User Conduct

You agree not to:

12. Limitation of Liability

  • Zepto Sky is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Termination of Use

  • Zepto Sky may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.
  • You may terminate use at any time by uninstalling the app from your device.

14. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms of Use from time to time.

  • Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
